About Project KPH ...

Project KPH is a Registered Charitable Trust which enables young people living with terminal illness, disease, disability, and/or other special conditions to experience the rewards of realising their talents and dreams through unique projects that fit their passion and interests.

Project KPH

The project is aimed at young people aged between 7 – 17 years. Project KPH provides a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for them to nurture and develop their natural abilities by getting up close and personal with the cream of New Zealand's talent to build a bank of sustainable skills and resources.

The Vision

Project KPH aims to provide young people aged between 7 - 17 who live with illness, disease, and/or other special conditions - the opportunity to nurture and realise talent through special projects designed to provide challenge and achievement. Project KPH aims to provide an interactive, safe and empowering environment for all people involved in the programme from recipients to sponsors.

The Purpose

The purpose is to enable inclusion.

The Objectives

  • To inspire personal growth for both recipients and contributors of Project KPH
  • To create sustainable skills and a strong support network for recipients of Project KPH
  • To manifest a sense of achievement for the recipients of Project KPH
By April 2010 Project KPH had realised two major goals:
  • Seeing Project KPH operating internationally – with our Bathurst adventure in October 2009
  • Seeing over 100 young people through the programme nationwide

The Values

The culture of Project KPH is reflected in these values:

Fun

We value creating a fun atmosphere for both recipients and contributors by injecting humour, friendship and positive attitude into each Project KPH experience.

Personal Growth

We value creating sustainable personal growth for the recipients of Project KPH through a positive, safe, encouraging, and interactive learning environment.

Rewarding Experiences

We value delivering rewarding experiences to the both recipients and contributors of Project KPH by creating meaningful, tangible, inspiring sources of reflection.

Inclusion

We value demonstrating inclusion by providing an opportunity for the recipients of Project KPH to shine in their unique and special context of talent, to have their interests taken seriously.

Integrity

We value authenticating integrity within our culture at Project KPH by being congruent to our stated values which are derived from the spirit in which Project KPH was born; to always remain focused on the Vision, Purpose and Objectives for Project KPH.

Teamwork

We value teamwork and input from recipients and contributors in order to achieve our vision by creating an environment which encourages innovative ideas, openness of feelings, thoughts, and authenticating inclusion.
